MAOBAO consists of two nutritional science students at Copenhagen University.
With a passion and drive for both food and the city of Copenhagen, we aim to bring quality and convenience to the people by serving our interpretations of the taiwanese staple Gua Bao(割包); pillowy soft steamed buns with fork tender pork shoulder.
Beginning as a street food venture in 2015, MAOBAO now has a permanent home at Sidecar cafe. Here we are dishing out new and old servings every tuesday-sunday night, while the Sidecar crew serves delicious drinks, cold beers, and natural wines.
